My love of the sun, art, nature, family, California, and Italy has inspired me to create and aptly name my company, sole. The definition of sole in English and in Italian is the following:

b. having no sharer

c. belonging exclusively or otherwise limited to one usually specified individual, unit, or group

As a painter and designer, my friends and family would each ask me to create their invitations for their wedding events and then later, their baby showers. Every one of them wanted something special and unique for their upcoming joyous celebrations. 

 

After our discussions about the vision they each had for their events, I would hand paint a watercolor artwork solely for their event and then create an invitation based on the watercolor painting with unique fonts. Later, I would give my friends and family the watercolor painting along with the invitations as a special keepsake memory of their celebration. As time went on, I started developing these designs on other gifts for their events such as wine bottle labels and coasters.
